Novi Sad is the administrative, economic, sports, cultural, scientific and touristic centre of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the second largest city in Serbia with the population between 300,000 and 400,000 citizens.

The former world No. 1 on WTA rankings Monica Seles, was born and raised in Novi Sad, where she started her successful tennis career.

Today, due to its glorious past, Karlovci remained an important cultural and spiritual center of the Serbian nation. Grape harvest in Karlovci, popular event Grožđenbal, has a long tradition since it is one of the most important wine-growing regions in the country.The central part of the event is definitely selling exhibition of grapes, wine and a variety of souvenirs, as well as other economic and cultural exhibitions. Sremski Karlovci produces excellent wine. Its rustic cellars draw more and more visitors each year.
